Frozen "No maps found" screen on GO 1050

Any advice as to how to unfreeze the "No maps screen"? Thanks-

I think the correct model # is GO 2505. MyDriveConnect also says GO 1005.

Try a drum reset on the unit by holding the power button about 20 seconds till you hear the drum sounds. Also, see here:

Tried that, but doesn't work. Can download new updates, but goes back to "No maps screen" after download. Thanks-
