Hi all, My name is Adam.
I am 35 years old.
Married for 10 years but been together for 16.
My Wife's name is Kylie.
We have 3 awesome boys aged 15, 12 and 6.
I work Fulltime Manufacturing Aluminium Windows for
the Housing Industry.
My interest are Hot Rods and Kustoms, hence my username.
I have just finished a build of a Lowrider Pushie that i
call "Marilyn".
We currently own a 99' AU Falcon Sedan and a 04' BA Falcon Wagon,
but a Kool 60's Cruiser is in the Pipeline.

Probably more info than any of you care to read but here i am !!!

I have recently bought a TomTom VIA180 as we are heading up to Queensland in 6 weeks time.

I have been using it around here and am wrapped with it.

I installed a new update on it last night and it shut down on me !
I worked out how to re-start it though.
I look forward to learning alot of tips and info on here to allow me to get the most out of my TomTom, and any advice or tips you are willing to share with me are Greatly Appreciated in Advance.

Welcome mate.

That model (Via) and associated models (1x and 2x models world wide) certainly are problematic. Not too much control over the unit by the user so there are very few solutions available when something goes wrong.

Let's hope things stay ok with it.

Right njow you have no access to the file system on that unit. So, you can't make any kind of user backup.

Also, you're not getting map updates at this time with no ETA as to when you should be getting them.
