Having been a tomtom PDA user and then mobile user I have been really impressed with how good TomTom has been. This all changed recently when I down loaded the latest upgrade. What a shock ! Now I'm used to new interfaces I'm a software engineer and understand the importance of moving forward but the UI is the most important part. What happed to the easy way you could do advanced routes, depart, destination all done. Not now search find place, make the departing place, search find place , drive to ? weird. Also , could not find centre of town/city. I tried everywhere then found it on POI! come on ?
Also what about the distance showing once you've got a route, I had to turn of all POI when I realised it was only showing the distance to the first POI. Come on TomTom what happened ! Who designed this, what happened to the use cases/ story boards/user trials ? The old interface although not perfect was much better. Anyone else confused or is it just me ?

Well, this is a peer-to-peer forum, not connected with TomTom.

Maybe you should tell TomTom how you feel.

If you can find an email address for Cees van Dok, he'd be the guy to tell about it. He's in charge of design for the consumer side of the business.
