Hello everyone, I just bought me a late x-mas present the TomTom one XL. that's all i really need. Love it so far. Ive been lurking the boards for awhile so im up to speed on what to do. but i did notice on the one xl that after the update through home, that u can change the car icons. There is a option in the menu to change car icon after the upgrade..yay. Ive used a older tomtom then just recently used a Garmin Nuvi...i must say i like how the Tomtom functions and operates better then the Garmin, Which is why i went with the TomTom. Thanks for all tips and tricks, and of course the pages of knowledge...Thanks again

Remember that a different car icon will only be seen in #D, not 2D view.

Also, make sure you make a full Explorer, not Home, backup of your unit's contents. Ensure hidden files/folders are showing.
