New Guy in Germany

Hi,
I'm an American that's been living in Germany for about three months now. About 2 weeks after I got here, I bought a TomTom GO 910 and I am certain that its the best money I ever spent!
Anyway, I do a lot of traveling and have a new best friend....leave the wife nd map at home....I'm taking TomTom!

I brought my 910 with me from California to European bike week in Austria in September. i mounted it on the bike, and it was a great help in getting me back to the two different inns I stayed at that were 15-18 km from the event at 2:00 AM. This was through local streets that were a bit convoluted during the day, and at night (In the rain twice) - they would have been major trouble.

The 910 took me right to their front doors and let me focus on the road conditions and not on where I was trying to go. The European maps were a major reason I got it. The other was the "coming soon' traffic receiver back in early 2006 - but that is another story.
