With cars now having navigation systems, I have not used my current TomTom XXL 540M. Finding that I wish to use it, I went to TomTom, downloaded the software, put in my user ID and Password it all it brought up was my OLD TomTom, a Via 1605TM. So I can not upgrade my maps. What do I do? Help!

You did download Home for the 540 didn't you? Get it at tomtom.com/getstarted.

(p.s. No need to use the larger font in your posts).

Perhaps to clarify ... your 1605 uses MyDrive to manage it. The 540 will use the older Home program to manage it. You'll need to have both installed to manage both units separately.

FURTHER TO THAT, you will need to use two different email addresses for the two units. The second doesn't have to be a real one, but needs to be one you can remember when using Home.
