Hello everyone, I'm as new as they get to GPS. However I love gagets. This looks like the place if you've got questions. Thanks in advance for answering my many questions to come.

Do a windows backup of your device as-is right away - will avoid issues that many have had because they did not.

Then set up TT home and set up an account with TomTom for your device. Use home to "Copy to Computer" your current application and your map(s). Do this before youlett it update anything.

It will probably offer to update your application when you first connect with Home, and also probably offer you a new map. Do the above first, then do it again after you update.
