Tom tom 920 map update

How can i get a free map update for tt 920 for South Africa. I just installed tom tom home but no map updates available for free. Please help maps i am using are outdated

Did you have some sort of 'lifetime map' deal from TomTom? I don't recall that being available back in 2008 for the GO 920. If not, updates are not free.
Are you just now installing Home and getting your unit connected for the first time? If so, I have no doubt that it will also be suggesting an update to your 920's firmware, which if never done before, it needs badly.

I connect it for the first time using tom tom home and just installed some firmware, but no map update.
Is it possible that someone here can share with me the map.

It's definitely possible, but
(a) it wouldn't do you any good since the maps are keyed to the serial number of the device for which they are individually created, and
(b) that would be a bit unethical, even if it would work -- which it won't -- see (a)
