Need some advice on tom tom rider 2nd edition uk and ireland

Hi I have purchased a tom tom rider 2nd edition uk and ireland but need to know where or how i can get european maps on there, i stupidly now see there is a european version out but bought the uk one. Please help!

Get a good quality 2GB SD card copy the old card contents to the new car then connect the device to TomTom Home and purchase the European Map, this will give you the same capability as the Euro device you wanted in the first place although its probably not the most cost effective way to get the Euro Rider! - Mike

can you not buy a memory card with the euopean maps already on there to put in the sat nav?

The card contains far more than just a map, it has the software (Navcore) on it, the voice files and quite a few other items needed to make the device function, TomTom don't offer a card containing a full set of files/ folders - Mike
