Navcore 7 and Memory (RAM)

Anyone noticed that Navcore 7 appears to take up less RAM?

Right now, I'm showing 6.1MB free. I don't recall it ever being that high. Back then, I'd see anywhere from 0.0 to 0.3MB Free (depending on how many POIs I show). I'd be happy to see 0.9MB free once in a while.

Yes, it looks like the code appears to be more efficient in handling memory. Mine is at about 5MB with a couple of POI's enabled.

sweet.. so technically, route calculations should be faster? Or is that still dependent on the processor speed?

what else does the extra RAM help?

Also, has anyone figured out the satellite lock issue? I can't find that .lto file that someone else mentioned.
