Hi all
I have noticed lately that I'm not getting the blue arrow for downloads in my system tray for mytomtom and as a result of that when i downloaded the latest map (910) it was a cluster. I tried to uninstall and reinstall but its still not working properly. if i hold my courser over the icon it tells me i have downloads waiting (map shares and gps fix) I'm running Firefox (latest version) and i checked for all plug in updates and they are current. I have a tomtom 2535 go live.

Sorry, but what do you mean by "it was a cluster"?

If you are saying you are not being offered the v910 maps (but were once) have you tried deleting the MyTomTom cache? (Click on the MyTT icon / select Settings / Cache tab / Empty the cache)

sorry (cluster) means it took 3 tries to get the map to down load. I kept getting no map found. and yes i have cleared the cache a number of times

well i called tomtom support and was told that they took the blue arrow away for mapshare and gps fix because of the many many calls they receive for repeated downloads and that next time a new map is available and it takes multiple downloads to complete to call them and they can fix it on there end.

Thanks for the info about the change in the "updates available" behaviour.

Have they made sure the map is re-assigned to your account, and have you managed to get it downloaded now?

He told me they reset my account and to see if that helps however I won't know for sure till the 915 map up date. the map share and gps fix has always loaded OK. so I'll keep you informed on any changes that may happen till then. Thanks for your help:thumb:
