The box says it's a 510, and when I turn it ON it says it's a 510... However, the product sticker on the bottom of the navigator says it's a 710. Can you check your product sticker and tell me if your 510 says 510 or 710?
Maybe I have the body of a 710 with the personality of a 510?
Would this qualify as a manufacturing defect?
Should I care?

My label says:
FCC ID: S4LGO710
IC 5767A-GO710
TOMTOM GO (4V00.710)

What does your label say?

the 510 is a 710 there the same except 710 has different map for over seas... I upgraded my 510 SD card to a 2 gig now it say i am a 710...go figure...

No, you shouldn't care. The 710 was never sold in North America. In Europe, they sold the 510 with the map of your country, or the 710 with the map of Europe. As Turbo x said, it's the same machine, just different maps.

The 910, however, has a hard drive and both Europe and North America maps.
