Mounting in a Honda Element

Anyone have any photos of mounting in an element. I;d hate to go drilling my new car.. the dash mount (above the radio) would be nice but it is too vissible for those looking for a free TT one.. anyone care to share pics ?

I like the ram-mounts.. I dont know about the a/c vent mounts and how it may play with condensation on an electrical device...

should not be a problem with heat or AC I have been using them for a few years and on 4 different cars, they work great.

TomTom mounting in a Honda Element

My wife and I have had out Element for a little over a week now and the first struggle I had was figuring out how to mount our TomTom. Since the windshield is about a mile away, that option was out. I was hunting around www.elementownersclub.com, which is a good place to read no matter what, and I saw a guy had a Garmin Nuvi mounted on the console just above the center A/C vents. I asked him how he got it to stay and he said that Garmin GPS units comes with a mounting disk that is adhesive backed. It turns out they sell them separately in two packs. So that's what we're doing now. The disk is a little small, but the only time the suction mount came loose from it was when we left it on over night on a night when the temperature dropped from 80 to 30.

Put a little water on the cup, it helps it hold. It will however be harder to remove when you want to.
