For those that have used TomTom for a while does the version numbers have significance? Looking at a few I was wondering if 705 might mean May 2007 release and 710 would be October 2007 release? Then I may be all wet and it has nothing to do with release dates at all.
Also, TomTom talks about 4 map releases a year on their web site. I was wondering how many map updates did they release this year? Do they expect everyone to purchase a map upgrade every three months or will MapShare really update your maps for a year?
MapShare has the ability to do a lot but I really wish that TomTom would make it crystal clear just what level of map updates will be issued using it.
