I corrected a street name of an unnamed road in my area one week ago. I am wondering if this has filtered to other's maps.

    Location,
    State: Pennsylvania
    Zip: 15017 Cecil-Bishop
    Street name: Longview Cr

    Coordinates: North 40 20'59" West 80 08'09"

Can someone with a recent update to mapshare report if this road is now named.
Also, what preference for updates do you have set, such as

Since mapshares are associated with specific maps, you gotta give us a clue as to what map, version and build you are referring to.

I wouldn't hold your breath. I have reported several unnamed roads that have existed for several years, and they're still not there on my map. I would guess that they wont actually add roads until a new map comes out.

No it is not renamed. But I'll rename it and contribute to the correction list.

    Pedro,

I am just guessing but I have mented this before so I'll ask you as you seem very knowledgeable on here. Do you know how many people have to make a correction on an item before TT looks it up and verifies it? My guess is they get a lot of bogus corrections. I am sure there are people out there tring to maliously ruin maps. I know we can download changed made by "some". How many is some???

    Thanks

And keep up the great work.

My wife claims this site is my "porn" since I am looking at it everyday

Not exactly sure on the number. This also depends on your settings with MapShare. I have all the options checked so I may received more updates than waiting for TomTom to verify the changes. If more members do change the same location, I'm sure this comes up as a red flag for TomTom, making it easier for them to determine if it is valid or not.
Thanks for the compliment. This is certainly my "porn" site.
