Map files copied to computer - but where?

HI,

I'm running Win 7 and am curious as to where TT MyDrive stores the map files after download. I'm wondering how good the housekeeping is - does it remove old maps after the latest is issued?

Have looked in Users/ appdata but can't find anything I recognise - not a show stopper, as I said, I'm just curious.

I use Tom Tom Home and my map files are here C:\Users\Tusername\Documents\TomTom\HOME\Download\complete\map

Spot on for XP. Nearly the same for Win7.

To the OP. Open up Home and take a look at where things are being downloaded. With Home open, find the Tools tab and select Home preferences, then look at the Folders tab. The first entry will show you your download folder location.
