Losing bluetooth connection

I have set up the Bluetooth connection with my Motorola G5 and been using it OK for months with no problems. Now suddenly it won't connect unless I "forget " the connection on my phone and reset the satnav. I then have to go through the set up from scratch every time. Help!

No - I ended up sending the satnav back for a refund!
