I have a TomTom XL350. Is it suppose to receive lifetime traffic updates? If so, do I need any other hardware? Also, I am running NavCore version 9.430.

If you have the combo rds-tmc antenna/car charger, then that should be all you need. Do you have such connector?
I do not have the combo rds-tmc antenna/car charger, it did not come packaged with my TomTom.

Then I'm afraid you did NOT get the lifetime traffic model. The only difference between the standard model and the lifetime traffic is the inclusion of the combo rds antenna/car charger for the lifetime traffic model.
Thanks for the info, dhn. I'll have to get another TomTom then, I'll need it for my job. I don't feel too bad about it though, the TomTom I have now is my husband's old one

Well, you need this connector:

which is cheaper than a new device but you'd have to call CS at 866-686-6866 to see if they even sell it here. The Canadian TT site is weird.

Will it work with the XL350M? I thought it would work only with, for example, the XL350TM.

It's the combo charger that changes a 350 M into a 350TM. With the latest application (9.430) it should work.
Anyway, the challenge, even if you decide to go that route, is getting hold of one. That's why I provided the CS number but you HAVE to stress to whomever you talk to that you ARE in Canada.
