Is TOM TOM server down?

I try to connect to Tom Tom server today and seems server is down.

This is the first time this happens to me. I have the latest version 2.6.

Yeah, a common symptom when indeed the server is (again) screwed up.

Try again later.

Yes. The server is down. I just called the support to ask about the error when I connected my new Tomtom first time.

The app update server is down. You can still get mapshare fixes. Perhaps a new app is being released for one of their devices. I'm sure things will be sorted out in the morning.
