IPhone 4S crashes when contact is selected

I have not encountered this problem in the past. If I choose navigate to and select contacts, Tom Tom just closes the app and no matter how many times I try it does the same. Any suggestions. I have not upgraded to IOS 5.1.

I have not encountered this problem in the past. If I choose navigate to and select contacts, Tom Tom just closes the app and no matter how many times I try it does the same. Any suggestions. I have not upgraded to IOS 5.1.

I should have worded my title correct. IPhone does not crash, but while I try "Navigate to", and choose "Contacts", Tom Tom closes the application. However it is not the case when I choose "Favorites" or "Search" or "Recent Destination". My contacts in the phone is not corrupted. Any help is appreciated.
