iPhone 4 map rerouting bug

Hi,

Advice welcomed!

My iPhone 4 TomTom app (UK), recently started re-plotting crazy B-road routes midway through journeys. Sometimes taking the car arrow icon completely off road!?

I did drop the phone recently - could I have damaged the GPS.
Or is this something to do with map updates or HD traffic?

Otherwise have found the app up until this excellent.

If you are being taken completely off-road, I'd say there's a very good chance that for whatever reason, the quality of GPS signal reception is very poor. When you get the crazy routes, does it show you on a nearby wrong road as well?
