iPhone 1.2 NA app price falls

TomTom announced a price reduction today for the North American only version of it's iPhone app. The 50 States version is now only $49.99, about half the original price.

It does look like we might be in for an iPhone navigation app price war in the run up to Christmas, Navigon have lowered the UK&ROI map to ?34:99 and it's possible to get a further ?10 off the price by prepurchasing iTunes vouchers from the Morrisons food chain, so a decent app for under ?25 for us Brits, will have to wait and see if TT lower any European prices to counter the Navigon offer - Mike

Currently doing a little work with TomTom and wanted to let you know that TomTom also recently reduced the price of the US+Canada version of the app to $69.99.
