I have a 920 and found a hardly used ZIP drive power supply rated as follows:

Output: 5V 1A
-------------------------------------------------------
...I notice on my TT car cigar adaptor it says:

Output:5V 2A
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
My question is, is it safe to plug in to my TT 920? Will it work, if I can find a usb plug in for it?

Thanks,Hasiel

Yes, a 1A supply would do it. Your 920 will happily charge from a USB 2.0 port where the maximum current is limited to 1/2A. Most 3rd party chargers run 850mA.

Your TT would be just as happy charging off a spare USB port on your computer. Why not do that? If you don't like the dock, use a standard USB-A to USB-MiniB cable, easily found.
