There was some talk about creating a web browser app for TomTom's but it never has been done.

Sorry, I misunderstood your original request. Why not share your solution for using your TomTom with Trapster with all of us?

www.trapster.com is a free poi that shows traffic light cams , speed traps, police cars location, known place where police hides. Ok go to the site and you would know more. so what i did:
I read this >> http://www.tomtomfree.com/articles/Guide to setting up POIs on tomtom devices.pdf
then
1. downloaded the CSV file from trapster.com
2. convert the csv file to .ov2 by going to this site >> http://tomtom.gps-data-team.com/poi/csv2ov2.php
3. copied the camera icon (.bmp) from trapster.com and named the file name the same as the converted .ov2 file
4. followed the instructions on how to load to tomtom by this >>http://www.tomtomfree.com/articles/Guide to setting up POIs

It worked on my tomtom 720 , so now no more tickets for me from the chicago police .

Hey Yanii- where is the csv file located. All I could see is a request for cell phone numeber where alerts would be sent. I would think thet a poi file would be better!! thanks for any help.

Hi Jim, at http://www.trapster.com/config-alert-sms.php there is a check box that says Notify Me by E-Mail When Data In My Area(s) for my Navigation Device has Changed

and a Download CSV file button at the bottom.

I don't know why the bluetooth gprs connection hasn't been expanded into other data option other than traffic.

Back to the thread, it's possible to create a proximity audio alert for this poi category right?
