Hi. I just downloaded the software from the TomTom site and installed. When I try to run it, I get an error. I've uninstalled and reinstalled several times. Customer service says I must use an older version, which makes no sense to me. He asked which OS I use and I said Windows. Based on that alone, he said I should use older SW. Why do they offer the SW for Mac or PC if the Windows version doesn't work?

First of all, not all customer support people give the best advice. Most of us using Windows ARE using the newest Home version (2.6.3.1609) with no problems.

What problems are you having?

I get a Runtime.exe error.

Are you by chance using Vista?

Ha, no Vista. I did; however, load an older version and upgrade it to the latest. The issue seems to have been resolved. Thanks.
