Home Error after New Map install on 930

After I installed the latest map (865) on my 930, I am getting this error on HOME when I check for updates. If I cancel the error window, I can eventually complete the download process.

Any thoughts on what I can do to resolve this other than phoning TomTom support

Thanks,
p

There's a bug in the version of Home whereby it digs deep into your hard drive and makes reference to maps it really shouldn't be doing.

In your case, if you go here:
C:\Documents and Settings\yourname\My Documents\TomTom\HOME\Downloads\complete\maps\

You'll probably see an old North_America_830.cab file. If you use Explorer to delete it (or move to another location) the error should stop.

I stumbled on this thread today and thought it might solve the same problem with my TT. Hooked up to the computer and found a newer verion of Home was available and that solved it.
