Getting full on internal drive on tomtom, have a sd card can i put pois on card or do i have to put the map on there as well Thanx

It depends on what model you have.

If you do NOT have a 720, then the sd card is not really an expansion, but rather a substitute for the internal memory. It must contain everything that is on the internal memory (map and operating software).

The unit will then boot up from the sd card and ignore what is on the internal memory. So your idea of having the unit access just some additional POIs on the card won't work.
