hi i bought a tomtom one xl with europe and uusa maps on when it arrived it was xl iq lroute edition wondering if to send back or is it a better model thanks fabman

I do not see any model offered in the UK that comes with both European and North American maps.

BUT.............

If the unit you received was the XL IQ Routes Editon version 2, then be aware that model comes with 'EasyMenu' which has significantly fewer menu options that models with a full menu.

So I still don't know what model you ordered..........

the one i recieved was a xl iq route edition 340 with uk and ireland maps on it and there is no sd slot as stated in the advert
now not sure whether to send it back

It appears that you have gotten a device with hacked maps and software since it seems to include USA maps on it.

A TRUE XL IQ Routes? edition? Regional unit ONLY has UK & Ireland. Also (see the little '2' after edition?) the unit comes with 'EasyMenu', not a full menu structure.
