I have used the "Get numbers from phone" option on my 720 to import phone numbers from my BB Pearl.
The import does work but with some flaws in my opinion.
The ability to edit or delete phone numbers from the 720 itself or from TomTom home would be ideal.
This is the flaw in my opinion. I will use "Bob Smith" contact as an example.
On by Blackberry I have "Bob Smith" with a work number, cell number, home number as well as extention. So 4 phone entries.
So on my TomTom it shows up as:
Bob Smith - Work
Bob Smith - Work2
Bob Smith - Home
Bob Smith - Mobile
Ideally I would like to have it shown as a tree like menu. "Bob Smith" as the top level. Select "Bob Smith" and then you can choose Work, Work2, etc. But I would like to have the option of deleting one or more of the numbers.
I know you can do it by connecting your TomTom and then going to the contacts directory but I think there should be an friendlier way.
