Garo's POI Editor

I am trying to use the above editor. Does anyone use this and if so what format for lat. & long. do you use? Everything I try shows the POI's several hundred miles away when I know they aren't.

I haven't tried that program.

If you happen to try it out, then the question is of formatting when you try to set your home location.

After further digging I believe his distance calcs are wrong. It seems the config file accepts the lat. & long. but does not figure the distance correctly.

Ah yes, I remember this app. I believe battom was the one who found this.

I haven't tried it fully but will give it a whirl later.

I have not used this one yet, but check to make sure you are imputing the correct numbers sometimes defaults are at N/E you might be tring to input N/W

A way to check is add a - before the second number (one in 70s).

Hi Steve:

I downloaded the prog last night, but haven?t installed it yet. Tell me... did you install to a directory of your choosing, or does it self install and set-up its own directory?

And finally... do you know if (Garo's POI Editor - V. 1.0 RC1) it writes to the registry?
