Flight mode

I'm using TomTom 7 on my AT&T Tilt with WM6.1 and I have a problem. Is there a way to get TomTom to access the GPS while in flight mode (all radios turned off)? Every other app I have that can access the GPS will do so with no problem in flight mode except for TomTom - it actually refuses to try and just says "flight mode" where the GPS signal indicator should be. Any ideas?

Try initiating flight mode after starting TTN

I don't know about with TTN 7 but the TTN version 6.032 which came with my HTC branded TyTN II will not initiate the GPS function when Flight mode is initiated.... it will however remain working if flight mode is initiated after TomTom Navigator is started and locked on. What happens when you try the same?
