downloaded map problem

Just downloaded a map of France.
Although I'm in England I tried to type in a French address but the countries that come up are only United Kingdom and Ireland.
Any suggestions.

Did you switch to the France map before trying to type in the addresses? (Manage Maps-Switch Maps)
