charging problem

Im having a charging problem. Basically my tomtom GO 720 has stopped charging weather it be the dock or the car charger. Ive noticed that the 720 charging area has become loose inside the unit. I'd like to take the unit apart, but I took out the only 2 screws I saw, and it wouldnt come apart...anyone have any ideas?
