i just lost denise hopper due to the same file name as elvis can I rename to different number before loading and will it work

Yes, you can. Just change the filename of the 3 files (.vif, .chk, .bmp) then edit the reference to the .chk file in .vif file (using notepad), so that it references the correct file.
