Can Autozoom be turned off? XXL 540M

I'm new to TomTom and find it annoying that the unit refers to a fairly deep zoom level shortly after changing the zoom. Can that feature be turned off so that I have the "bigger view" when going on a freeway trip.
That would also address the constantly moving view on the large screen.

Afraid the 540 does not have the ability to disable auto-zoom.
