There are a bunch of bluetooth profiles, the phone has to support the profiles that your GPS uses.

Looks like your phone supports the headset, handsfree, and dial-up networking profiles. I'm not sure what else is needed to make it work with the 730.

It may be obvious but have you set the W755 to be allowed to be detected by other bluetooth sources.The Tomtom go 730 doesnt give me the option to chose another phone, it just says make sure my phone has bluetooth enabled then the go 730 starts a scan to find the phone. always comes up unable to connect phone not compatible.
