Back of Tomtom

My tns410 which I purchased with my Yaris 2011 has no cover over the back unit which attaches itself to the unit in the car. Have read you should not touch this when you detach from the unit in the car. Where can I get one from?

also is it necessary to have a sd card in my Tom Tom?

The TNS410 has barely any internal memory of its own, and depends upon the content of the SD card to operate.
Don't know about the cover situation.
