Activate your TomTom promotion question?

Is that promotion over now? I just bought my Go720, tried my code, it says "Promotion code does not exist or promotion has ended.".....

Just wondering if it has end or not as no expire date shown.

From what ive read and my own experience the promotion code is not needed anymore to get your free map update. You can simply go to File > Latest Map Guarantee.
