750 tmc

Hi, I just bought a TomTom 750 Go.

I am very happy with it, works very well.

However I saw that TMC is not included in this version, no big issue, but I would like to get it if possible.

Do anyone know if this is a hardware or software limitation?
Is it possible to upgrade my existing device? Can I just buy an antenna to get it to work?

I believe that you would just need to buy the TMC-RDS windscreen mount. The 750's aren't like other TT's that you just plug an aerial into. The TMC also only works if you don't have live services activated. Coverage will also depend on the country you're using TMC in.

OK thanks for the replies,

a bit disturbing that I will end up with two docks. But atleast it seem possible to get TMC without replacing it.
