720 Docking Problem

Plugged my 720 into the computer today to update, and the thing immediately opened without asking if I wanted to connect; the following pop-up showed:

"USB Device Not Recognized -- one of the USB devices attached to this computer has malfunctioned, and windows does not recognize it"

Any ideas? DO I need a new dock, 5 months in?

Try a pin reset on the unit and try again. Often rectifies the problem.
