Where is volume control on Go Superior?

Greetings all! So far, I'm managing to live with my Go Superior though, like a lot of other contributors, I'm not sure it is actually superior! My problem is quite basic and it certainly isn't mentioned in the user manual nor, apparently, in these forums. How do you increase the volume of announcements? Directions I can hear OK but some announcements, like traffic delay, I'm only aware that the lady is speaking but I've no idea what she is saying!!
Any and all suggestions welcome.

Make sure the the volume slider on the settings screen is fully over to the right

There is only the one volume setting for both directional and warning information. Find a volume level that is suitable to you for both.
