Waypoint Names

Hi,
So, I've just purchased a Rider 550. I use MyRoute to create my routes which I then drag and drop onto my device. This has been my approach with my previous TT, a rider Pro. I used to be able to create specific waypoint names in MyRoute, such as hotel, or Col du Pillon etc... When I then exported the file (itn) it would carry the waypoint name over to the TT. I've just followed this process with the 550 but it has changed all of my waypoint names.

I have so far tried exporting as GPX 1.1 files and an OV2 file, as well as itn but to no avail. I want to retain the waypoints, which as one of my buddies always goes off-piste and saying to meet at the next waypoint is useful.

Any ideas on how to retain the names during transfer?

You cannot retain the waypoint names, the 550 will rename them to the name of the road.

Thanks for the response. That's a shame and a bit of a step backwards for TT in my opinion. A useful feature removed.

If you add the important waypoint to My Places and use that, the name will be retained
