VIA 135 cleared cache , updated to latest, doesn't update

I tried to just update the Quick GPS.

All it does is say " checking.."

Whats the latest way to get it to work?

Maybe
1. Close MyDriveConnect on the computer
2. Detach the device from the computer and do a drum reset.
3. Reconnect the device. Open MyDriveConnect.
4. See MDC 'sees' your unit and, if so, are there better results?

I had a problem when I was using a VPN. After I turned off the VPN it worked fine.
