Update always before depart

At least in the rider 550 updating maps, POIs or whatever is a nightmare on route, even having a good internet connection through the phone via wifi.

Next time I'll take it to my home to be sure that everything is updated using home wifi and enough time.

Updating full map sets over your phone's WiFi can also really eat into a restricted data plan! Home is definitely best.

If traveling and find updates, I always either put off the updates or find a WiFi that doesn't have a landing page to do the updates.
