TT1 3rd Edition

Very impressive ... As much as I'd like to tackle this project I think its going to be beyond my means. It's been almost 10 years since I did any soldering & the last thing I need is a dead TOM. Damn shame it wasn't as simple as popping out a CF or SD card & popping in a new one.

If only 1GB maps were more readily available for pirating LOL. Guess next time I'll have to ensure I get a unit with a SD slot.

I'd like to go geocaching with my 7y/o daughter.
Geocaching requires entering in manual coordinates and walking to clues using N/S/E/W.
Can someone please send me a link to TT or 3rd party software to install that gives waypoint navigation and bearing distance?

If you use GSAK with Ground Speaks pocket queries you can export way points to your TomTom.

File> export> TomTom POI file

You'll be able to get close but it's not as good as a handheld GPSr like Garmin or Magellan.
