TT XXL550TM POI Help

Ive had the xxl 550tm for a month. My question is can/how do i find poi's while im on the road. I used to have a megellan and could see resturants,gas stations,motels ect. at the on off ramps while on the interstate. Cant figure out how to do it of if it will do it. Thankful for any help

You can do this:

Preference-->Manage poi-->Warn when near-->select the category you are interested in, select the distance before the warning appears, then what type of warning (sound, partial spoken warning, full warning including distance to another poi in same category or you can even type in your own warning and have a (computer voice--if selected) read it to you.
