Trip to Juneau, AK

Using my 910 in Juneau, AK, the unit went haywire. Spinning around, jumping to parallel roads, even with 4, 5 or 6 satellites. Any one have any ideas. Folks at Tom Tom had no idea.

If you were around tall buildings satelite can't reach your unit or clouds.

You may or may not have noticed that the TV satellite dishes that are so prevelent in Alaska are all pointing parallel with the ground.

The state is so far north that in order to pick up signals a receiver has to point down, not up!

I noticed several dishes and asked my friend in Anchorage about it and she explained it to me.

So how did you like Juneau? Seeing how thats the town I grew up in I'm interested to hear. Funny I never had my TT back home but now that I'm in a real city I appreciate it so much.
