tomtom via135 - shuts down after voice instructions

hi can someone help me i have a new via135 model but everytime it uses its voice system my device shutsdown..thanks

Is the battery fully charged on the unit?

yes but the strange thing it turns off after it speaks

Try a drum reset on the unit by holding the power button about 20 seconds till you hear the drum sounds.

Have you tried it with Voice guidance at Settings disabled?

Are you 100% certain that you've got solid external power to the unit? You don't see the little battery indicator in the lower left of the screen, do you?

hi,today i used it for half an hour and it switched off after it used voice that ive arrived at my destination at 90 percent battery

hi but as ill be in the uk next week i need the voice guidance..today it switched off at battery level 90 percent after half an hour using it

That sounds like you are still using it on battery power. If so, please humour us and try it on external power, just as an experiment.
