Could anybody be so kind to explain why my TOMTOMGO 720 is not recognizing my TMC adapter lately?
It worked with the previous applications version 7.***, with the latest application ( > 8.*** it just doesn’t recognize it.
TOMTOM customer service instructed me to erase the GNC folder and the separate file in that directory except for the bitmap files, then to restart the device. What happens is that the system will be updated to an old application version 7.4xx, however still no TMC reception, in anyway by doing the next update the latest application version is being requested to be installed 8.350 with the same GNC folder as you started.
