TomTom Bluetooth

Hi,I have a tomtom one xl,It has the bluetooth icon in its menu and tried to connect my motorola phone to it using the bluetooth setup.
But no luck,Does this model of tomtom use bluetooth or is the icon just there for demo.Can someone please help me here.
And if its possible what will i gain by having them paired up together?.

The One XL does support Bluetooth but only for a data connection to use the Plus services from the GPRS connection available from your phone, the One XL cannot act as handsfree for your phone as:

1/ it doesn't support handsfree calling
2/ it has no microphone built in
